I had a snapped distal biceps tendon repaired under BUPA in London early May but the operation left me with what appears to be a severed posterior radial interosseous nerve and a bad infection under my scar. The treatment I had under a doctor and in Trauma 2 Ward was exemplary to say the least, everyone had an incredible bedside manner, all were proficient and all worked very hard. Even though it is a strange thing to say as I was separated from my family while they holidayed in Cornwall I felt I was privileged to have been under their supervision. Even though I am still having surgery to repair the nerve the referral from the doctor was prompt an efficient and the surgeon who I am now due to see at RSOH in London is up to speed on everything prior to my meet with him, what more could I ask for as a patient..
"Excellence second to none"
