I was recently admitted to Fotherby Ward for an operation on my knee and would like to record my thanks and admiration for my treatment. In days when the NHS frequently comes under fire for all sorts of things (many outside its control) I believe it is necessary to recognise when things operate particularly well.
I am aware that my operation was simple and unremarkable on the scale of things that come within the Trust’s purview but nonetheless it was clearly a team working at the top of their game and as a result showed exemplary professionalism. Adjectives that spring to mind are calm, kind, organised, thoughtful and hard-working; and those skills were demonstrated by all members of the team throughout the day.
"Exemplary professionalism from all the team"
