"Emergency care"

About: Stoke Mandeville Hospital

I attended the A&E department in excruciating pain and was seen immediately the staff were highly professional and treated me with kindness and curtesy. After several tests x-ray's MRI I was given a clear diagnosis. Admitted to ward 16b and could not fault the care. The nursing staff from the healthcare assistant to the ward sister were attentive, polite and compassionate. The medical team provided sufficient information to help me make appropriate decisions. Surgery was I eventful and my recovery helped by good pain relief. Discharged one day following surgery with appropriate drugs and support. The ward was clean and well maintained and the experience could not have Ben better. I would fully recommend this hospital and would be very happy to be treated there again.
