"Admission into mental health unit"

About: Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust

(as the patient),

I had a very similar experience was put into hospital after overdosing on medication and left even worse than when I first entered.

The medicine I was forced to take did not help me at all and turned me into the living dead. I have learnt to take care when approaching the mental health services as it leads to more trouble than its worth half the time!

I now have CBT therapy and take medicine for severe OCD but my breakdown still torments me and fear it always will. I put my faith in my family and the future now.
