"breastfeeding friendly hospital"

About: Royal Hallamshire Hospital

(as other),

My 3 week old baby needed feeding and the hospital cafe was about to close. I tried to find the baby changing room (sometimes these are suitable places to feed) but I couldn't find it. I went to ask the receptionist at the main entrance. She explained that the changing table was in the toilet and actually commented that I didn't want to feed her there. After I explained that the cafe was a no-go she went off and found me a side room in the staff area. I felt amazingly supported, and although I am sure there is a breastfeeding friendly policy, this lady went above and beyond it.
