"Hernia Operation"

My elderly father, had a hernia operation at the hospital in May. Unfortunately he has a significant fear of hospitals and operations, and the day was very stressful. The hospital was absolutely excellent, very clean, everyone we came across on the day from reception staff when you enter the hospital right through to the surgeon, were excellent . In particular the nursing staff in the day unit were first class. I explained the situation concerning my dads anxiety, and they really went out their way to make him feel relaxed and comfortable .
