Once my NHS dentures where made, they seemed to fit fine for 24 hours.
After this they just got looser and looser. I went back to the dentist to explain this and they said that I have got a small jaw and there wasn't anything they could do.
If you have 4 visits and they use the gunk as I call it and mould it to your mouth surely they should fit. I also explained that I could not eat anything with the bottom set in as they do not stay down. Their response to this was 'just wear them for special occasions'. I had to pay for them so why should I do this? Please can you help or, because I only payed for NHS dentures, is this the normal response?
