"Childrens A & E fantastic"

About: Hull Royal Infirmary

Our son hurt his wrist falling off his bike at a leisure centre, the manager felt we should take him to hospital to be checked over. We arrived at 7:30pm and were almost immediately seen by the triage nurse, she was very pleasant and felt an doctors opinion was needed. We sat back in the waiting room and within minutes were called through and sent to x ray. Just minutes after the x ray we were taken in with a specialist nurse that looked at the results and saw there was no broken bones so we were able to go home. The whole process took a little less than an hour! The department appeared very organised and well managed. Staff were very caring and treated our son well. Thank you
