"Dignity and care for patient and family"

About: Castle Hill Hospital

My mother Shirley was cared for during a long illness in the oncology unit ward 31 and given a quality of life we could never expect or hope for In her final days the staff helped my mother and our family cope showing us the utmost dignity and kindness The design of the unit and garden landscaping made my mothers stay feel less stressful and our visits a pleasure albeit at a difficult time Being able to visit when we wanted really helped at the end of her life and this was the only place she felt safe and happy apart from home We need this special quality of care to be a model for all hospitals A team to be proud of at every level Our thanks go to everyone involved in the creation and running of this wonderful service

There is no commitment, you can get involved as much or as little as you choose. For more information please either email foundation.trust@hey.nhs.uk or telephone the Corporate Affairs office on (01482) 675165.
