"Amazing place to birth"

I gave birth to my daughter here in October 2013. The centre was recommended to me by a friend who spent time here for aftercare. I am so pleased and proud of my birth, I received amazing support. As a first time Mum I had concerns about being away from most pain relief options and also emergency care should my baby or I have needed it. The staff were reassuring and encouraging to the point where I delivered using just a TENS machine and birth pool. My birth plan I felt was a bit ambitious as anything can happen but looking back I actually followed it exactly. I could not say enough good things about the centre. I personally find hospitals daunting and stressful. The birth centre was the opposite, completely relaxing and comfortable. At one point during labour I had 3 midwives with me as it crossed a shift change and the midwife with me for the duration chose to stay to see me through to holding my baby. She cried with me when my daughter was placed in my arms. I had such a beautiful experience and would encourage anyone to do the same. Book a viewing and you will see for yourself.
