"Excellent care from Barlborough NHS Treatment Centre"

I had an arthroscopy of my knee at the Barlborough NHS Treatment Centre. The treatment and care was excellent, every member of staff introduced themselves to me from the day surgery unit staff through to the surgeon and anaesthetist. Without exception they were friendly efficient and a credit to their organisation. The areas that I was treated in were clean and I saw good attention to hygiene and more particularly hand hygiene throughout. As a trained nurse I was slightly nervous about being on the receiving end but I was put at ease and witnesses this not just in my care but in the two ladies being cared for either side of me.
