"The cleanest hospital ever,"

I was an inpatient in the day case unit at Broadgreen this week. I have got to say that this is the cleanest ward that Ihave ever seen, everything was immaculte, the doemstics do a fantastic job and obviously take pride in their work. I was looked after by a staff nurse and I would like to say how caring and professional she was with all the women on the ward ensuring that are privacy and dignity was maintained. She kept all the women up to date on how the theatre list was going. The care I received post op was excellent ensuring that I was kept as comfortable as possible with regular pain relief. The catering lady was an angel hot drinks and refreshments where offered regularly and nothing seemed to much trouble for the staff on the ward. I wrote this review because I beleive that people are quick to criticise the health service and I feel that we should be active in stating when we receive good care to let the staff know that we do appreciate all the hard work that they do sometimes under very stressful situations. Well done to all the stfaff on the day ward. Thank you Carol Allan
