"Recent admission with the respiratory team"

About: Russells Hall Hospital

I was unfortunate to have an asthma attack for the first time three weeks ago. Never experiencing difficulty with breathing before it was one of the most scariest thing of my life. I went to AE where I was given treatment to relieve my symptoms and was transferred to the EAU and subsequently to C5. Throughout the journey of my admission I couldn't fault anyone. I was treated promptly with care and compassion by everyone. Following my discharge I was followed up by the respiratory team at home and again I was given 1st class. Hospital isn't a place anyone wants to be by choice but if ever I am the same situation again I would be more than happy to be treated at Russell's Hall Hospital. I would like to thank all the staff in AE, EAU,C5 and the DRAS team. Thank you.

Thank you, Joy, for giving such complimentary feedback about our hospital and the staff who looked after you during your visit. We know that coming into hospital is never a particularly pleasant experience, so it is wonderful to hear that the care you received was of a high standard all the way from admission through to discharge. We will pass your lovely comments and words of recommendation on to all the teams involved in your care. Thank you.
