In December I called a ambulance because I have water retention due to enlarged prostate and was in a great deal of pain with a full bladder and no way of relieving my pain I needed a catheter fitting which is the only way to drain the bladder. I arrived at a&e at 12.30 with the paramedics and waited in the corridor for 15 minutes then was taken into the main casualty area were I came face to face with the most uncaring women I have ever had the misfortune to meet she asked what the problem was to which I told her and was told that is not a emergency I was shown to a cubicle buy a nurse I was in exstream discomfort my breathing was very fast and I couldn't keep still because of the pain after 30minutes I went to the main nurses station were the woman was arguing with a doctor how she didn't like him and he didn't like her when she seen me she said someone will see mee shortly after another 30minutes a nurse came to take my temperature and pulse she could see I was in distress and said she would see if she could get a doctor to see me eventually I did get seen and catheterisation took place.i couldn't fault the doctors or nurse's but the nurse in charge was not good.
