I came to Salisbury for to have our daughter by ELCS, august 2013. When we arrived we were welcomed, shown around and given all necessary information. I was very anxious as my 1st labour & emergency section (in Germany) was awful. All the HCA's, Dr's and Midwives especially were fantastic. We felt relaxed and prepared. Went down and had a spinal by a very friendly anethatist. Met our surgeon (again very friendly). The whole experience was relaxed yet professional. Not a moment of worry. We were then returned to the ward. In the middle of a the night a very lovely midwife gave me a bed bath and helped me into clean pj's. It was heaven! Then the following day all follow ups with drs, midwives and nurses were brilliant. Answered all our questions. When we discharged they were quick and again gave us all the information we asked for and didn't. I 100% would recommend Salisbury maternity unit to anyone. They were excellent. Made the birth of our daughter memorable and a very wonderful experience. For that, thank you.
