I recently attended Ward 4o of the RVI as I was bleeding in early pregnancy. The staff were pleasant and the ward was clean however I was initially sat to wait in a corridor with other people. Given the upset I felt I thought this was thoughtless especially given the fact the young lady sat next to me decided to tell me it was her second miscarriage. Not what I wanted to sit and listen to as I feared the same. I was then took to a room where the nurse was very nice I could not fault her but to then be told I had to wait from Saturday am when I was there to Wednesday for a scan was unbelievable. I am currently sat waiting for Wednesday to come not knowing the outcome of my bleeding. This has caused me so much stress and worry and I am very disappointed with the same. I am aware this seems to be normal routine for the ward however the feelings if the person involved do not seem to be took into account.
"Unhappy with the wait"
