It was May 2014 and I had to have a damaged wisdom tooth removed, lower-left 8.
I'm 62 and dental/needle phobic, so I was not looking forward to this!
However, from the moment I arrived I was treated extremely well and professionally.
I was put at ease quickly and, after a few minutes wait, was sent through to see a nurse. After blood pressure checks etc. I was shown to the male-only waiting room and this was the longest wait; I arrived about 11. 30 and was seen by various staff, checking details along the way.
I finally went through for the procedure around 2. 30 and before I knew it was in recovery. A couple of nurses were sitting either side and chatting to me whilst I regained some kind of composure!
A while later, I was wheeled to the ward and was given a cup of tea and some toast!
Staff called my wife and told her I could be collected.
All-in-all, a VERY positive experience.
Thank you very much to ALL concerned.
