I have nothing but praise for the staff at southend hospital. I went in at 7am on the 23/05/2014 to have my gallbladder removed. Upon arrival I was greeted by a lovely nurse who explained everything to me I was aloud a relative to stay with me untill it was time to go down. I was explained everything by the surgeon and anaesthetist. Before I new it had my gown on and into theatre it was my first operation and I was made to feel in safe hands. 90 minutes later I was awake having a sip of water. Taken to Windsor ward to recover again lovely staff had home by 8pm! Everything went smoothly cannot fault anything/anyone
