"Assesment Ward 19 and Day Unit"

Received first class service from all involved when admitted for an emergency procedure. My post operative care in the Day Unit was second to none. All in all this was the NHS at its best, less than 24 hours after visiting my GP I was operated on and home. Staff were professional and caring, all introduced themselves by name and were reassuring. Many thanks especially to the sister on Ward 19 who calmed my pre-op nerves; also to theatre staff who made me feel safe and well cared for; and to the day unit staff for the many cups of tea!
