"Toilets on ward 36"

About: Arrowe Park Hospital / General medicine

(as the patient),

I was in Arrowe park hospital on ward 32 which was great clean and friendly staff but got moved to ward 36 were one the toilets had faeces on it and spit down the wall. The floor had blood on it.

So when I let the nurse know that that toilet was in no fit state to use, I got a bit of an attitude and told to use another which I did. When I opened the door to the next toilet there were toilet paper all over the place with god knows what was on it so I refused to go the toilet on that ward and went to a toilet just in the hall way outside the ward.

When I came back on the ward I had 4 nurses round me being abusive and saying that to clean the toilets is not their job its the cleaners.

I had to sign myself out to get away from the abuse and sly remarks they were making.
