"husband cannot get appointment at opthalmology..."

Husband is still waiting for hospital appointment since last went february 2014 he is supposed to be on regular repeat appointments every 2-6wks i have contacted booking office at least 6 times also husband has phoned them himself.He was told he had appointment in october he has uveitis and macular degeneration registered blind although has slight vision he is getting alot of eye pain and is worried his remaining sight is going.He is also very depressed as under psychologist and also has multiple sclerosis he is normally under regular appointments what is going on is there a lack of consultants if so why not give him a transfer to hinkley hospital.
