What could be improved

food and the restrooms were very dirty i went into at least 3 diff. restrooms while i was here with my mom trash overflowing everywhere and the toilets were very dirty the only ones that was clean was the ones on surgery floor

Anything else?

the room they had my mom in before her surgery had blood all over the floor it was not sanitary at all. the house keepping hadnt even been in her room at all today or yesterday

Thank you for taking the time to place your comment about our hospital. We are sorry to learn that your experience of visiting the Freeman hospital fell below the standard expected.

May we give an assurance that minimising the risk of hospital acquired infections and keeping our hospitals clean and safe is an overriding priority in all that we do. As such we work hard to guarantee the cleanliness of the hospital at all times. We have a programme of regular cleanliness inspections and self-assessment reviews. We also encourage patients, visitors and staff to report any instances where improvements can be made as soon as possible to the ward staff so that any problems can be attended to.
