"From entering the hospital i was ..."

About: Westmorland General Hospital

(as the patient),

What I liked

From entering the hospital i was treated with respect and courtesy. The surgeon/consultant that performed the surgery was thoughtful and considerate throughout. The consultant visited me prior to the operation and gave me confidence as he also did later while performing the operation. I was impressed with the professionalism of all the staff and although i like many others i would not volunteer to return, i would be comfortable if it became necessary.

What could be improved

I did not have any cause to complain but perhaps a little light music and a magazine could prove benficial while waiting.

Anything else?

The nursing staff were excellent and prompt, they guided me through the process and explained each step in easy to understand language.

The Tea and Toast were very welcome after the operation.

My compliments to all concerned.

Thank you for your kind comments.
