"Thank you for the great service"

I have had 2 babies in the birth centre at the Whittington in the past 3 years and was very pleased with both the antenatal and the birth centre there. The midwives and doctors, and were always helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. I had acupuncture to bring on both births (successfully) which was a fantastic service to offer. I had some issues with my platelet levels during both pregnancies and had great access to consultant care to get advice, but was also then allowed to have the midwife lead water birth that i wanted. The only negative was the disorganisation of the system when trying to get additional appointments over the Christmas and new year period (when i was 38 weeks) which were necessary because of my low platelets. it was so hard to get the appointments that i needed because everyone was away. Overall everyone seemed to really care, and although they are doing this everyday of the week, i felt that my pregnancy mattered to them. Thank you for all the help - I have two beautiful children who are (in general) really relaxed, which in part i attribute to their great birth experience.
