After a long wait beyond my appointment time, was eventually seen by consultant. Unfortunately could not understand a word he was saying. I have no idea what he wanted me to do & just about managed to answer some his questions. Just about got the gist that my eye pressures were fine & to return in 9 months. Seriously contemplating why I should bother, because obviously they are not that bothered. Sitting waiting in the department with patients being called in, who had arrived quite a time after me makes one wonder if I had been forgotten. No information or reassurance from any member of staff, not even the courtesy to say they are running late. With a 10-15am appointment, how can they be so far behind. On making my new appointment, I noticed the time I was seen that was entered on the form was not right. I informed the gentleman at appointments, because it made it look like I was seen just a bit later than my appointment time. He altered this to the time I was actually seen. All in all not a very good experience at all & quite stressful & upsetting.
