"Nil Response to Follow up after seeing consultant"

About: Arrowe Park Hospital

Attended clinic to see a consultant ref prostrate procedure and it was agreed to get it done This was November 2013 the was followed promptly by preoperative check at clatterbridge again within a week about 21st November. This was followed by nothing until I rang Arrowe Park on 6th May 2014 to enquire as to where I was up as my pre op exam had expired. The response was an assurance that I would receive a call that week to tell me where I stood. I rang again on the 21st May to again ask where I was up to on the "list" and was again reassured that I would receive a call back which has yet to happen. Is this normal or not? BJPendlebury
