"The two people who came were absolutely brilliant – they work so hard!"

About: South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust / Emergency ambulance

(as a service user),

I initially called my GP having had a fall. He sent a nurse to see me in case I had hurt myself seriously and may need treatment.

The nurse checked my foot which was quite swollen and called for an ambulance as she thought there may be a break. The two people who came were absolutely brilliant – they work so hard! One person was doing all the paperwork while the other, Liesl, was looking after me. They kept me cheerful, I couldn’t fault them.

They took me to Frenchay hospital but before we left the house they made sure everything was left safe and secure.

Dear Quartz783

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. I hope you are recovering well.

It is always rewarding to hear that our staff are continuing to provide excellent care to our patients when they need us most.

I would like to pass your kind comments onto Liesl and the other member of staff. Would you be able to contact me, at your convenience, with the date and location that the ambulance attended> This would allow me to identify both crew members.

Thank you again for providing feedback on our service.

Kind regards

Laura
