(as the patient),

What I liked

was in glenfield at christmas for heart opp on discharge was talen to a discharge ward where after 1/2hr meds were there for meto go home with

where at kings mill have not gotit right yet

kings mill should look as to how a big heart hospital can get it right

where they cant kings mill

this discharge system kings mill hospital has of makin patience wait so long is a farce.

Anything else?

yes see how glenfield hospital discharge system could be used at kings mill to improve the long awaiting on meds so you can go home

and not have to come back to kingsmill next day to collect

as this sucks makes my blood boil when am told to come back next day i should leave with all my meds !!!!

Thank you for your feedback. We are aware that on occasions patients do have to wait for discharge medication and agree that 5 hours is far too long to wait. We have raised this issue with our medical team who are responsible for prescribing discharge medication to ensure that where a patients discharge is anticipated the medication is written up the day before so that pharmacy have sufficient time to dispense it before the patient is due to leave. Unfortunately at present we are not planning a discharge lounge facility.
