About: Warrington Hospital

Staff saying they were very busy and not listening to patients needs - especially when they were in excruciating pain. Attitude of one particular male nurse was shocking and would come over to start obs, just walk away then not come back. Elderly lady told not to get out of bed and then asked for commode 5-6 times within half and hour and still no-one responded other than - we are very busy. CDU Male patient with Dementia being told to go back to his bed or sit on his chair but he had no idea where he was, why people were telling him the bed was his and how to sit on a chair. One female nurse on this section had a caring nature but the male nurse didn't and was very abrupt. Whisked my relative away on the bed without saying to them or us what was happening. Overall - very bad attitude and even worse communication as to what was happening other than being told (yes you have guessed) we are very busy.

We're really sorry to hear your experience and that you felt that one of the team wasn't as polite as we'd expect. We've passed your feedback on to the team in that area to take a look at. Thank you for leaving your comments - without them we can't improve things that could have been better for you.
