"Short stay"

About: Heatherwood Hospital

I was admitted on 9 May for knee arthroscopy - shaft stay ward at Heatherwood Hospital. I was greeted by staff and shown to the trolley bed where I was introduced to the delightful nurse who was looking after me. I could not have wished for a better experience - the ward was clean, lavatories were freshly cleaned. Staff were engaged, compassionate and good humoured; I was treated with the utmost dignity and respect.
