"Staff Brilliant - Appointment System Pathetic"

Staff Brilliant but the appointment system is chaotic. Unlike all of the other hospitals I have had to go to in my 48 years of severe medical problems where you come out of seeing the Dr/Consultant and the person on the desk gives you your next appointment this hospital has a completely insane system. Appointments are generated 6 weeks before they are due - or that is the theory. So 5-1 weeks before you are due to be seen again there is still no appointment - you phone and are told that you are on the reserve list. When you get a phone call a few days later asking if you can go to the extra clinic on Saturday or worst still be there at daft o;clock the next day they wondr why people say NO. It would be better if you could get your next appointment when you are in clinic that way both patient and Hospital know whats what! This appointment system is INSANE and does nothing for the hospitals patients except create stress, worry, aprehension and frustration. p.s I put that I don't know which department because this problem covers all of the different clinics I go to
