My 90 year old mother is suffering from Alzheimer's and is profoundly deaf. She came to hospital after collapsing from a urinary tract infection and anaemia. The patience of the staff has been exemplary especially as her hearing aids were damaged in the fall so it was very difficult to communicate with her. She also pulled out almost every canula that was put in place which was especially difficult as her veins were very hard to find. I have been very impressed with all of the staff from the consultant to nurses to porters and all. I was most impressed with staff nurse and doctors and also the OT but everybody has been fantastic.
"Meadvale did a fantastic job looking after my mum"
