"Wasted staff"

i cannot believe the amount of unnecessary receptionists on nearly all desks. 4 in minor inhuries, 3 in outpatients, 3 in the dental. the unnecessary salaries could be much better spent on more consultants/doctors. i have just sat in op for over an hour watching two staff members wandering round with absolutely nothing to do.

We thank you for your feedback we will use the comments to review the situation to improve the patient experience. We employ three receptionists to cover the seven day period for the Minor Injuries Unit and these are supported by clinical staff during busy periods. We regularly review the staffing in our departments and apologise for your poor experience. The comments will also be shared with the staff in the department .
