"A&E visit after dog bite."

About: The Whittington Hospital

I attended A&E at the Whittington Hospital on the weekend after being attacked by a dog. Within half an hour I was seen by a triage nurse and within two hours (all up) I had been examined by a doctor, had an x-ray on my arm, had a tetanus shot and given antibiotics and had my wounds treated and dressed. The staff were very friendly and explained everything perfectly and the fact that I was seen and treated in such a short amount of time (particularly on a hot Sunday afternoon the day after Arsenal had won the FA Cup!) was exemplary.
