"I gave birth to our first child ..."

What I liked

I gave birth to our first child at Bassetlaw in September 2008 and found the facilities and staff to be excellent. The maternity staff in particular were great and made my husband and I feel very informed about what was happening. We can't thank them enough for the care my son and I received.

What could be improved

I was very nervous about the birth and ended up staying in the hospital for several days leading up to it. The staff made me feel very comfortable and did all they could to support my husband and I. I wouldn't hesistate in recommending Bassetlaw maternity unit to family and friends.
