"From the very first point of contact ..."

What I liked

From the very first point of contact i.e the receptionist through to the consultant with Louth hospital I was highly impressesed with the efficiency, helpfulness and general feeling that they were there for me as a patient. I was in to have my gallbladder removed at 8am and discharged at 7.30pm the same day. I even received a phone call from my consultant the next day checking that I was doing well. I have had previous operations in private hospitals and never received this kind of service.

What could be improved

As I was only in for the day the only thing I could comment on would be that as I had travelled from Gainsborough (at least an hour) there was very little offered to accomodate my husband staying there so he had to travel back home until I was ready to come home.
