Poor start. Father sent to RH by GP, arrived 4pm to Emergency Assessment. Phoned at 6pm, phone eventually answered, told father still unseen by doctor, sitting on trolley waiting. Phoned at 8pm, told same. Phoned at 10pm, told father finally seen, told waiting to be admitted to ward, along with other patients who had been waiting on trolley's for 24 hours. Sounds like a typically poor NHS service. More to follow once ward found and visited.
