About: Colchester General Hospital

Have only lived in this area 5 months and had to attend Colchester county as had a breast lump,There came under care of a lovely consultant. In fact all the staff I came across in the breast unit were so kind and caring . With the consultant he made you feel like his only patient.I was bookd into Stanway Ward for my operation on April 22nd 2014 and felt very at ease.The ward staff were lovely the ward was spotlessly clean and the staff made an awful diagnosis of breast cancer easier to take. In the theatre the consultant anaesthetist again a lovely man who made you feel very confident that you were in safe hands.I should state that my operation was carried in Colchester General Hospital.In short every member of staff I came across were a credit to their profession .I have been back for as checkup and now have the treatment to come but feel confident due to the caring staff I have come across so far.
