"Appalling teatment on maternity unit"

My daughter has just experienced the most appalling treatment by maernity services. She required a surgical procedure due to previous complications in pregnancy, was kept waiting 3 days before the procedure was completed and due to the delays spent the best part of 2 days with nothing to eat or drink. She then had problems getting the medication she needed to take home with her to prevent infection - had to chase this up herself and was verbally abused by a member of staff. Disgusting!!!!
