I was told to stop taking my 'Blood Thinning' tablets 3 weeks before my appointment for Day Surgery.

My appointment was cancelled the day before the operation. I tried ringing the hospital for a further 2 days to try and find out whether or not i was to start taking my tablets again. I was told to start taking the tablets until another appointment was made.

I had been taking my tablets for 5 days when i got a new appointment and was told to stop taking them again.

I actually got into the hospital before this appointment was cancelled! I'm still not taking my tablets and my third appointment for my operation is at the end of the month.

I am over 70 and deserve better than this.

The management/admin are completely useless at this hospital, even making a complaint is hard work...

Just for the record, a nurse at the hospital told me to make an 'Oficial Complaint' as they are tired of telling people that their operations have been cancelled!!!
