I spend a lot of time in hospitals from John Radcliffe, great Ormans street and of course the royal Berks with my 10 month old daughter as we are still trying to get to the bottom of her condition. In particular my most comfortable stays are always at the Royal Berks in the children's ward. The staff are fantastic they make no request seem a inconvenience no matter how busy they get. They keep me (the mum) in the know as much as they can even if they don't know how long something may b they shall always make you not feel forgotten! They are truly amazing and so friendly.( Plus I like the fact parents are allowed tea on the ward, unlike other hospitals). They listen to everything I have to say and as soon as I query something unusual with my daughter they make a point of keep checking, they never ignore me which is good as my daughter is an expert at hiding what's wrong with her. When I have long stays at the hospital I love the fact you see the same nurses on a regular basis, it's much better for someone like me who has to repeat myself a lot so very reassuring when I see familiar faces I then know they truly care about the children they look after and it's not just a job for them. I know a lot of them have been here years and there experience shows and they are a credit to this hospital. Thank you so much for looking after us and all the future stays I'm certain I will be having with my poorly daughter!
