"An Outpatient appointment that went like clockwork..."

My appointment with the audiology clinic indicated that I would be seen no earlier than 9.45 a.m. At 9.50 a.m. I was sat in the consultation room and being assessed by a very pleasant person. At the end of my tests I was given relevant information, and plenty of opportunity to ask any questions. My appointment 'slot' was identified as taking about 45 minutes - I left the consulting room 40 minutes after I arrived. Surely outpatient appointments can't get much better than this!
