"Got it wrong about my sister having cancer"

About: Queen Elizabeth Hospital (London)

would never recommend this hospital to anyone. Told my sister she had cancer and that it was terminal and only had three moths to live. Then treated her with cancer drugs for months to find out they had made a mistake. kings college told QE to biopsy her liver before leaving hospital and they didnt even both. three months later she died. QE then refused to do a or-topsy WHY??? Still no one has lost their jobs over this, how can kings college hospital and Queen Elizabeth get this WRONGE!!

Thank you very much for bringing this matter to our attention and I would firstly, like to offer my sincere condolences. The experience you have fedback is very distressing and also very complex which I would like to investigate. However, without any patient details it is not possible to do so. I would really like you to contact our PALS office so that we can obtain some more information and, hopefully, arrange to meet so that I can talk to you personally and investigate both the issues you have raised above and anything else you may wish to discuss at that time. I appreciate that this must be a very difficult time for you and you may not wish to talk to anyone straight away, however, I would urge you to contact PALS when you are ready so that I can look into your concerns. Our PALS team can be contacted on 020 8836 6000. Julie Baker, Macmillan Lead Cancer Nurse
