My terminally ill husband was recently admitted into medical 3 and his stay lasted for 14 days. Whilst he was on the ward he was treated very well by the doctors, matron, staff nurses and all other nurses were so very kind and caring, so much so that when he had the option to go home he opted to stay in the ward. The staff did not put any pressure on him, they discussed everything with him and his family. Although he then agreed that he would like to go into an hospice he was very sad to leave the ward. Also I have to mention, due to their sincere compassion in doing everything possible for him, they made an almost impossible dream for him come true. Thank you so much to all the doctors, the ward manager & staff nurses. But overall, thank you to everyone who cared for my husband. Also a very big thank you to the security staff.
