I posted a negative review a few weeks ago which centred on the administrative issue of letters from referring medical staff being severely delayed before consideration and the impact this was having on me, given that I could barely eat. My review prompted action,. and I have now visited the hospital, been treated to exemplary service by both medical and nursing staff, and the course of action and revised drugs prescribed are already making things much better for me... I am most grateful to the staff... a really good bunch of people, and to the person who picked up my phone call and took action when you posted your response to my review... I feel, however, that there is still an underlying administrative problem in dealing with communications to and from external agencies. The problem does not appear to lie with the medical staff, but with the system which processes letters - both in and out.
