Having shown no signs of problems i was diagnosed with Bowel cancer and having not been in hospital before I was admitted for an operation within 4 weeks , At a very hard time I was put at ease straight away by the pre op nurses and surgeon about the care I would receive .The care was excellent form going in on the morning of the operation until I was told I could go home. Every person on ward c30 gave you care with dignity and you were always their main concern. The nurses were always on hand to help and encourage you to do things to aid recovery, You hear of so many problem within the NHS but the staff just get on with it , working under pressure and long hours to give the best care. Many thanks to all on ward C30 . Angels in uniform
