"It takes forever"

About: Colchester General Hospital

My Mum has been in hospital for 11days now. She has been poked and prodded but no-one really explains clearly what is going on. She is told she needs this test and that test but she has to wait days for these to take place, then she is told to wait for the results which again takes ages to come through. No wonder there is bed blocking with how slow things are arranged within the NHS. My Mum is very keen to go home now but God only knows when they will release her. The nurses on the ward have been shortstaffed today meaning my Mum has had to wait all day for a feed; no wonder people complain about the NHS. Also the nurses have not been very nice today; in fact damn right rude at times. I really hope my Mum can go home soon as I am not very impressed with her overall treatment.
