"Rude uncaring staff"

I have had so many terrible experiences with the staff at this hospital. The nurses are so rude and judgemental, which is the last thing that people with mental health issues need. You are treated like you are wasting their time, that you are exaggerating your issues. I was accused of lying about a violent attack, even as I sat there with my still-swollen and bruised face. I went there during a domestic violence emergency, and the nurse called my husband into the room to ask him if he was, in fact, abusing me. This directly led to an increase in the domestic violence I had been experiencing. Now I am desperately seeking help for PTSD and have been told to wait three more months (after waiting three months previously and having a second followup assessment) to see if my homelessness situation gets better. A nurse this week has just thrown me out of Halliwick, they told me I will have to be re-referred from my GP and wait on the waitlist again, and she told me to go to Mind instead, because I haven't been able to get a council flat in three months. She was completely out of touch with how social services currently operate, and refused to listen to me, saying I was just "making excuses". It was completely unprofessional and I have never felt so suicidal in the last few months than when I walked out of the Halliwick that day. This was not the first time I have been told to go to Mind. (the violent attack took place directly across the road from Haringey Mind and I have never been back there since the attack). Why are nurses for my NHS telling me to stop bothering them and go use a charity instead? I have friends who have had similar terrible experiences at St Ann's. Something is very wrong at this hospital. It is literally worse than useless for mental health. Please, if you are having a crisis and need help, please please go anywhere but St Ann's.
