Disgusted . Rang to found out about my daughter today , put me threw to a nurse , couldn't tell me any thing on the phone , didn't even know what the surgeon had said to my daughter , I'm next of kin .

Thank for taking the time to leave your feedback. Due to patient confidentiality staff are unable to give details over the phone without the patient's direct consent for information being shared with next of kin.

Perhaps this should have been explained to you by the nurse, and the Sister in A&E will talk to staff about the need to explain this when a next of kin ask questions.
