I went to the A&E department last week and found it to be clean and bright. I herniated the L4/L5 disc some time ago. A couple of weeks ago it started to press on the sciatic nerve leaving me with a lot of numbness and tingling from the waist down. A concerned friend insisted on taking me to hospital and the treatment was faultless. Right from the beginning with the two friendly young women who take all your details, the first doctor who explained things very well, did some tests and even drew diagrams for me, then a nice fella who did my x-ray and back to a nice, smiley doctor who took the time to explain the x-ray. I didn't feel I was being rushed at any time. Excellent, efficient service with kind staff. I was feeling quite anxious when I arrived but left feeling more positive. Thank you.

As an aside, my MRI appointment came through so quickly. I'll be going at the end of this month, just 3 weeks from request to appointment time. I thought I would be waiting for weeks and weeks.

Hi Richard

I felt guilty at not knowing the names of the staff who helped me and only remembering them as - friendly young women, knowledgeable, efficient doctor, nice x-ray man and happy, smiley doctor! But I hope that says much more about them.
